Our position

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms — slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking — all of which deprive a person of their liberty in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

AMPM Group Limited (company number 17136810) has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, for itself and for every company it holds. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to ensuring effective systems and controls exist across the group so that modern slavery is not taking place in any of our businesses or their supply chains.

This statement is published voluntarily, in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and covers AMPM Group Limited and its operating companies, including Gemini AMPM Limited and AMPM Building Services Limited.

Why this matters in our industry

Construction and building services carry a heightened risk of modern slavery — particularly in labour supply, subcontracting and materials sourcing. The group’s companies pay particular attention to these areas when selecting and monitoring suppliers, subcontractors and labour providers, and the Group expects the same high standards from every employee, contractor, supplier and business partner across the arc.

How responsibility is structured

• The Group Board holds overall responsibility for the group-wide position and reviews modern-slavery risk as part of its oversight of the operating companies.
• Each operating company adopts and maintains its own signed anti-slavery policy, owned by its managing director, covering day-to-day implementation, supplier onboarding, training and reporting. AMPM Building Services’ policy is published at ampmbuilding.services/legal/modern-slavery ↗.
• Everyone working for or with a group company — employees, directors, agency workers, contractors, consultants and business partners — is expected to read, understand and comply with the applicable policy, and to report any concern at the earliest possible stage.

Raising a concern

Reports of suspected modern slavery in any group company’s operations or supply chain can be made to [email protected], or through the relevant operating company’s own reporting routes. Concerns can also be reported to the UK Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline on 08000 121 700.

We will support anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith, even if they turn out to be mistaken, and no one will suffer detrimental treatment for doing so.

Reports are treated in confidence. Please do not include sensitive personal information about third parties beyond what is necessary to describe your concern.
